Frequently asked questions
Is the logo builder free to use?
Yes. You can design as many logos as you like, preview them on light, dark and neutral backgrounds and download an evaluation PNG or SVG free of charge. Commercial rights and full-size, print-ready files come with a paid licence.
What do I actually own when I buy a licence?
The Standard licence gives you full commercial use of the finished lockup - website, social, signage and stationery - as vector SVG plus PNG. The Extended licence adds merchandise and resale-of-goods rights with 4096 px print files. Exclusive rights retire the design from the builder so nobody else can generate the same mark.
Can I edit a logo after I have bought it?
Yes. Save the design to your account and you can reopen, adjust and re-export it at any time. Edits to a purchased design are covered by the licence you already hold.
What file formats do I get?
Vector SVG, which scales to any size without losing quality, plus PNG at 1024 px as standard. Upscaled 2048 px and 4096 px PNGs can be added at checkout, and every export can be produced with a transparent background.
Where do the symbols come from?
The symbol library is the open-source Lucide icon set, published under the permissive ISC licence, which allows commercial use. Your licence covers the finished lockup - the combination of symbol, typography, colour and layout that you create.
